Give Her a Challenge
Occasionally, excessive barking is a result of unspent energy in your dog. If she tends to get bored on a traditional walk, up the ante. Make it a jog/walk or ride your bicycle and give her even more exercise. Games and agility training will also help with excessive barking because she’s working very hard to concentrate and remember. Finding a challenge your dog enjoys and is safe will go a long way.
