Star-Studded Dog Rescue Event To Take Place On Thanksgiving!

We highly suggest you skip the Thanksgiving football games this year and opt for “Fox’s Cause for Paws: An All-Star Dog Spectacular.”

Cause for Paws is believed to be the first televised event to raise money for rescue dogs, in hopes of finding them their forever homes.”We’ve seen the entertainment industry come together for so many worthwhile causes benefiting people, now it’s time for them to rally for man’s best friend,” co-executive producer Michael Levitt told CBS News.

Actors Hilary Swank and Jane Lynch will be hosting, so you know it’s going to be a good time. Celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Betty White, Fergie and Josh Duhamel are scheduled to make appearances as well! And as for the puppies, well, there will be 35 of them, all who are in kennels or foster care. “Rescue dogs are not broken animals,” Levitt said. “They are the victims of bad circumstances, but most are loving and most grateful creatures.”

The show will also have segments about the importance of adoption and neutering. There will even be dog contests, where pups can win the title of Cutest Puppy, Best Celebrity/Dog Lookalike, Guiltiest Dog and Best Licker. But the real competition as we mentioned earlier, will be the football games. We’re confident that there are millions of people in America who will tune into for this amazing event, and hopefully turn it into a yearly show!

Head over to FOX for more information! Be sure to tune into Cause for Paws on Thanksgiving Day at 8/7 c. on FOX.
