Melrose also assists the regeneration of damaged tissue while fighting infection and fungus. Clean the wounds with water, then gently apply the Melrose essential oil to the wounds. Before Using Essential Oils for Dog Wounds

While we all want nothing but the best when it comes to our furry family members, it’s also important to note that dogs and humans are different, and thus, use essential oils differently.

Do your due diligence before using essential oils for dog wounds to ensure a safe and healthy application. Many online sources recommend diluting the oils first as they might be too strong for your dog’s sensitive skin. Also, make sure the type of oil is dog-safe. For example, Oil of Oregano, Thyme Oil and other phenol-based essential oils as they can be harsh.

When using essential oil on dogs, monitor the dog’s skin after the initial application. Stop usage if the wound gets worse or skin becomes irritated.
