5) They Don’t Have to be Bored or ‘Bad’
As pet parents, many of us have learned the hard way that dogs can become bored when they’re left alone for extended periods of time. When this happens, destruction often follows.
Because a typical dog’s bite comes in at 150 to 200 pounds of pressure per square inch – yeah, you read that right – they can do some serious damage when trying to amuse themselves. Be sure to give them plenty of stimulation while you’re gone. Stuff a rolling ball with treats, smear a hollow marrow bone with cream cheese, or provide lots of toys to keep them busy.
