Canine Tuberculosis

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that is extremely rare in dogs, but can occur.  Some symptoms include fever, weight loss and anorexia. According to the New Jersey department of health, transmission of M. tuberculosis  can occur between humans and dogs.

  1. My sweet pup had Degenerative Myelopathy. I was very lucky – I had three years with her after her diagnosis. Happily, we were able to find ways for her to live a comfortable life until the end when walking became too difficult. I miss you, my darling.
